HC Deb 13 April 1905 vol 145 c43
DR. MACNAMARA (Camberwell, N.)

To ask the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether his attention has been called to the breaking out, on Sunday last, from the Jumpers Deep mine, of 500 Chinese coolies, and to the fact that for three hours these coolies stoned the mounted police; whether he can state the reason for this outbreak; and, if not, whether he will get particulars.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Lyttelton.) I have not yet received the answer to my inquiry for particulars.
