HC Deb 13 April 1905 vol 145 c77
MR. GILHOOLY (Cork County, W.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland what were the adjusted rents on the Bird, Beamish, and Bandon Estates, near Bantry, respectively, and poor valuations at the date of sale to the Congested Districts Board; what arrears were due of the tenants at that date, the number of non-judicial and second-term tenants of these estates: at what price each of these estates were purchased by the Congested Districts Board; and, seeing that a number of the holders on these estates are fishermen, and the fishing season will be in full swing about the middle of July, whether he will send an inspector from the Congested Districts Board to said estates at once to carry out the squaring of boundaries and general improvements.

MR. ATKINSON

To reply fully to this Question would necessitate reading out a long tabular statement. It will be more convenient, therefore, to furnish a printed reply with the Votes, and, with the hon. Member's permission, I will adopt that course.
