§ MR. DELANY (Queen's County, Ossory)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether negotiations are in progress for 1402 the purchase by the Estates Commissioners of Mrs. Adair's estate situate at Mountmellick, Queen's County; and whether he can say, as this estate includes the holdings of several evicted tenants, that due regard shall be had to their claims in the disposal of the property.
§ MR. ATKINSONThe Answer to the first inquiry is in the negative. If the estate should come before the Commissioners the claims of the evicted tenants will be considered.
