HC Deb 11 April 1905 vol 144 c1256
MR. ASHTON (Bedfordshire, Luton)

To ask the Secretary to the Treasury for what period annuities have been issued to pay for electric light and power in naval establishments under the Naval Works Act, 1903.

(Answered by Mr. Victor Cavendish.) The Act referred to sanctions borrowing for any period up to thirty years. The annuities so far set up run for twenty-nine years. They provide for repayment of sums borrowed for the purposes of the Act generally.
