To ask the Secretary to the Admiralty if he will state the number of Coastguard surgeons in Ireland; how many hold appointments additional to the Admiralty one; and how many devote themselves exclusively to Admiralty work.

(Answered by Mr. Pretyman.) The number of Admiralty surgeons and agents in Ireland is 117. None of these gentlemen are required to devote themselves exclusively to Admiralty work.
