HC Deb 09 May 1904 vol 134 c772
MR. SLOAN (Belfast, S.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland under what circumstances are members of the Royal Irish Constabulary stationed in districts where public-houses are situated in which they have an interest; and will he take steps to have them transferred elsewhere.

MR. WYNDHAM

The regulations provide, in such a case, that the member of the force shall be stationed in another county.

MR. SLOAN

If I give the right hon. Gentleman instances, will he see that the transfers are made?

MR. WYNDHAM

Certainly.
