§ MR. SLOANI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of 773 Ireland if the appointment of Dr. Kirwan, to be medical superintendent of the Ballinasloe Asylum, over the head of Dr. Mills, who was acting superintendent, has been sanctioned; and, if so, on what grounds.
§ MR. WYNDHAMThe appointment has not yet been confirmed by the Lord-Lieutenant, who is in correspondence with the committee of management of the asylum on the subject.
