§ MR. ROCHE (Galway, E.)To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether the election of Dr. Kirwan to the position of resident medical superintendant of the Ballinasloe Lunatic Asylum has yet been sanctioned; and, if not, what is the reason of the delay.
(Answered by Mr. Wyndham.) The appointment has not yet been sanctioned. The Lord-Lieutenant is in correspondence on the subject with the Committee of Management of the Asylum.
