§ MR. THOMAS O'DONNELLOn behalf on the hon. Member for South Mayo I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that a farm of land, known as the Quilka Farm, in the townland of Quilka, county Cavan, is at present in the Land Judge's Court; that it has been advertised for letting for a period of seven years, with the right to purchase; and that the farm had been in the landlord's hands; and, if so, whether, seeing that there are a number of tenants in the neighbourhood with poor and small holdings, he will give instructions to the Estates Commissioners to purchase this grazing farm for the purpose of enlarging the holdings of the other tenants.
§ MR. WYNDHAMThere is some difficulty in identifying the farm referred to from the information given in the Question. Further inquiry is being made, and perhaps the hon. Member will repeat the Question on Monday.
