To ask the Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs when the last annual meeting took place of the Agents in Egypt of the Powers signatory of the Suez Canal Convention of 1888, as prescribed by Article 8 of that Convention for the purpose of taking note of the due execution of its provisions, one of which (Article 4) limits the stay of the ships of war of belligerents at Port Said and the roadstead of Suez to twenty-four hours, except in case of distress; and whether he can state when the next meeting will take place.
