§ MR. JOHN ELLIS (Nottinghamshire, Rushcliffe)To ask the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether the regulations under the Transvaal Chinese Labour Ordinance have now been settled and approved, and when the House will be in possession of the regulations.
(Answered by Mr. Secretary Lyttelton.) The regulations have not been finally 964 finished and the Report is being considered. I have as yet received no intimation as to when the Commission are likely to present their Report. I trust, however, that it will be soon.
