MR. HERBERT ROBERTS (Denbighshire, W.)To ask the Secretary of State for India whether he is aware that on the professorship of biology at the Madras Presidency College becoming vacant, Mr. K. R. Menon, Assistant Professor of Biology, was appointed to act in the place of Dr. Bourne, a specialist in zoology, and has filled the position for two years; and whether, seeing that the Madras Government now proposes to supersede Mr. Menon by a specialist in botany from England, he will take steps to secure that Mr. Menon's
§ value of Indian and Ceylon tea exported into Russia in 1901–2 and 1902–3.
