JOHN REDMONDI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware of the desire that a considerable portion at 988 least of the Irish Development Grant Fund should be devoted to primary education in Ireland; and whether he proposes to consider this desire in framing his Estimate.
§ MR. WYNDHAMYes, Sir, I am aware of that desire. It was not, however, possible to meet it in this Estimate prior to a consideration of Mr. Dale's report.
