HC Deb 10 March 1904 vol 131 c722
MR. CROMBIE (Kincardineshire)

To ask the Secretary for Scotland if the Scotch Education Department has granted a special modern group leaving certificate for Glasgow High School for Girls; and whether this group will under similar conditions be extended to all other schools.

(Answered by Mr. A. Graham Murray.) Upon the application of the School Board and upon the basis of a curriculum arranged by conference with the school authorities the Department has agreed to grant a special group leaving certificate for the Glasgow High School for Girls. It is open to any other school to make such an application, and if a satisfactory arrangement can be made as to curriculum, a similar group certificate would be granted.
