I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War if he will explain why there is no commissioned Presbyterian chaplain at Edinburgh or at any of the military stations in Scotland.

The need of the services of the Presbyterian chaplains is more urgent at other stations at home and abroad than at those in Scotland, and these considerations govern the postings.
