§ MR. WILLIAM REDMONDI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether, in view of his reply to a Question in 1901† that the Department of Agriculture in Ireland was considering the question of the fisheries in the district of Ballyvaughan, Clare, with a view to their development, he can now say if anything in this direction has been done or is about to be done.
§ MR. WYNDHAMThe Department is in correspondence with the county council on the subject of the provision of landing facilities for the fishermen at Ballaghaline. It has offered to make a contribution towards the cost of the necessary works. The council has not yet accepted the offer.
