§ MR. WEIRI beg to ask the Secretary for Scotland in view of the fact that only £3,000 per annum is placed at the disposal of the Scottish Fishery Board in aid of the construction of piers and harbours, will he consider the expediency of arranging for a sum sufficient to meet the requirements of those districts in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland which are outside the Congested Districts Board area.
§ *THE LORD ADVOCATE (Mr. SCOTT DICKSON,) Glasgow, BridgtonPerhaps I may be allowed to answer this Question. I should be glad if the figure available for the purposes referred to by the hon. Member were more considerable, but I fear there is under present circumstances no prospect of the augmentation to the fund suggested by the hon. Member.
§ MR. WEIRWill the hon. and learned Gentleman approach the Chancellor of the Exchequer with a view of getting an increased grant?
