§ MR. ROCHEI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that the tenants of the townland of Derrygoolan, county Galway, on the Clanricarde Estate, who asserted their claims to the sporting rights, have in consequence been processed, some for the hanging gale, being the only rent alleged to be due, and others served with notices to quit; whether, in view of the circumstances of the proceeding and the nature of the past season, he will undertake that the forces of the Crown will not be used in the execution of any decrees thus obtained.
§ MR. WYNDHAMI have no information on the first part of the Question. The Government has no power to give an undertaking such as suggested at the end of the Question.
