HC Deb 16 June 1904 vol 136 cc267-8
MR. HAMMOND (Carlow)

To ask the Postmaster-General if he is aware that the College, St. Mary's, Knockbeg, Queen's County, about two-and-a-half miles from Carlow Town, has but one postal delivery in the day, and that letters there from have to be sent for postage to Carlow Town by private messenger; and, if so, whether, seeing that this is an important public institution in a fairly populous district, he will arrange for a second daily postal delivery, and for providing and erecting a postal pillar at the road gate of this college.

(Answered by Lord Stanley.) My attention has not previously been called to this service, but I am having inquiry made in the matter and I will communicate the result to the hon. Member.
