§ * MR. MOONEYI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if he will state what is the cause of the delay in announcing the decision of the Local Government Board in the appeal of the Rathmines Commissioners from the order of the Dublin County Council.
§ MR. WYNDHAMThere has been no avoidable delay. The Board is now considering the inspector's report and the voluminous minutes of evidence taken at the inquiry.
§ * MR. MOONEYAccording to the right hon. Gentleman the evidence was printed as far back as the 10th of last month, and if the decision is not given before the end of the session the order cannot take effect for four years.
