§ SIR THOMAS ESMONDEI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if he is in a position to state the result of his inquiries into the condition of the fishing industry on the south-east coast of Ireland, and what he proposes to do for the assistance of that industry.
§ MR. WYNDHAMThe Question has reference to the application of Section 11 of the Marine Works Act to the maintenance of fishery piers in non-congested districts. The matter is still engaging consideration, and I am not yet in a position to make any statement in respect to it.
