§ MR. MACVEAGH; I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he can state how long Head Constable Moore has been engaged on temporary duty at Greencastle, county Antrim, and when the temporary duty is likely to come to an end.
§ MR. WYNDHAMSince the 10th August last. There is no intention at present to withdraw this Head Constable from Greencastle.

§ MR. MACVEAGHIs it a fact that this man has been engaged for twelve months on temporary duty, and will the right hon. Gentleman state how much longer he will be so engaged?
