HC Deb 10 February 1904 vol 129 c1328
MR. THOMAS O'DONNELL (Kerry, W.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord- Lieutenant of Ireland whether any steps have yet been taken with a | view to relieve the ratepayers of county Kerry of the burden which is caused by the Dingle Railway.

THE CHIEF SECRETARY FOR IRELAND (Mr. WYNDHAM,) Dover

I have been conducting prolonged negotiations with the Directors of the Great Southern and Western Railway with a view to the transfer of this line to the system of that company. I regret to say that even now I have not reached a satisfactory conclusion. But I do not despair of reaching one.
