HC Deb 09 February 1904 vol 129 c727
MR. J. F. X. O'BRIEN (Cork)

I beg to ask the Postmaster-General whether he will state what steps, if any, have been taken to improve the heating of the Cork Telegraphic Office since two complaints were made by the staff in the form of petitions to the postmaster.

LORD STANLEY

On receipt of the first petition, steps were at once taken to improve matters, but these unfortunately proved inadequate. A plan has now been suggested to the Board of Public Works for placing radiators in the Instrument Rooms. This, it is hoped, will afford the desired improvement.
