I beg to ask Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer whether it is proposed to provide for payment of the two warships purchased by Government out of the revenue of the financial year now current; and whether Supplementary Estimates will be laid.

The payments for the Chilian ships falling due within the current financial year will be inserted in the Supplementary Estimates of this year, viz., £707,904, and the remainder, which is due to be paid in August, will be provided for in next year's Estimates, viz., £1,167,096, making a total of £1,875,000.
