HC Deb 12 August 1904 vol 140 c409
MR. HUGHLAW (Donegal, W.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if he can state the amounts of the moneys allocated and unallocated, respectively, under the provisions of the Marine Works (Ireland) Act.

(Answered by Mr. Wyndham.) In the cases of works in which the preliminary negotiations have been concluded and advances have been sanctioned by the Treasury, the total amount of such advances from funds provided by the Act is £21,396. Other works are either before the Treasury for approval or are the subject of correspondence with the Irish Government, and it is not practicable, at the present stage, to state their cost.
