HC Deb 04 August 1904 vol 139 c975
MR. CATHCART WASON (Orkney and Shetland)

I beg to ask the Secretary to the Admiralty if his attention has been called to the visit of the German fleet (thirty-two ships) to Lerwick; and if he will consider the advisability of arranging for a visit of the British northern fleet, or part thereof

THE SECRETARY TO THE ADMIRALTY (Mr. PRETYMAN,) Suffolk, Woodbridge

The Answer to the first part of the Question is yes. With regard to the latter part, some of His Majesty's ships will visit Lerwick about the end of August.
