SIR THOMAS ROE (Derby)

To ask the Secretary of State for War whether his attention has been drawn to the wrongful arrest on the 23rd April, and imprisonment as a deserter, of Private James Churchill, 1st Dragoon Guards, of Walker Lane, Derby; and, if so, whether any steps have been or will be taken to compensate Churchill for this action by the military authorities.
