HC Deb 14 April 1904 vol 133 c191
SIR JOHN ROLLESTON (Leicester)

To ask the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether, in view of the results of the serum inoculation for plague in India, he will prohibit the use of plague serum in Johannesburg.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Lyttelton.) I am not prepared to interfere with the local medical authorities in this matter, and I am not aware of any reasons for the suggested prohibition of the use of plague serum, to which no objection is taken by my medical advisers.
