HC Deb 26 May 1903 vol 122 c1793
MR. LONSDALE (Armagh, Mid)

To ask the Attorney-General for Ireland whether, under Clause 3 of the Irish Land Bill, it will be possible for the owner of an estate to repurchase his demesne, if at the time the estate was sold he was out of occupation, by reason of having let it for a period of, say, one or two years.

(Answered by Mr. Atkinson.) Under the provisions of the Bill, the advance can only be made to an owner for the purchase of land which is in his occupation at the date of the sale to the Land Commission.
