HC Deb 25 May 1903 vol 122 c1624
MR. J. P. FARRELL (Longford, N.)

I beg to ask the Postmaster-General whether, in view of the heaviness of the parcel and mail traffic at Longford, he will sanction the employment of some mode of transit of mails and parcels from the station to the post office other than requiring the letter carriers to drag them on trucks from the station.

(Answered by Mr. Austen Chamberlain.) I am making inquiry into the matter, and will communicate the result to the hon. Member in due course.
