Member for North Huntingdonshire, as representing the First Commissioner of Works, if he will state whether during the last three years the Office of Works surveyor at Edinburgh reported on the condition of Holyrood Palace, and, if so, on what dates; and will he say when and by whom the defective condition of the drainage was first brought under notice.
§ MR. AILWYN FELLOWES (Huntingdonshire, Ramsey)The condition of Holyrood Palace has been the subject of annual examination and report for several years past. The architect and surveyor of the Office of Works reported last October that the drainage was defective.
