HC Deb 05 May 1903 vol 121 c1370
MR. CATHCART WASON

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Colonies if the bearers of a petition signed by 20,000 Fijian Natives will be allowed to present it to His Majesty.

MR. J. CHAMBERLAIN

Any British subject may present a petition to His Majesty. The hon. Member is doubtless aware that the proper method of approaching the Crown with a petition from Fiji is through the Governor and the Secretary of State for the Colonies.
