HC Deb 04 May 1903 vol 121 cc1201-2
MR. JAMES O'CONNOR (Wicklow, W.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland if he will explain why the valuation of the licensed premises of Mrs. Catherine Lowe, of Kiltigan, County Wicklow, has been raised from £8 to £15, thereby increasing the licence duty from £4 10s. to £8 a year.

The valuation of these premises was revised in accordance with the principles laid down in the Valuation Acts and was not appealed against.
