I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he will consider the desirability of including within the scope of the references to the Royal Commission about to be appointed to inquire into the amalgamation of unions in Ireland the question of the position of Poor Law medical officers.


This matter was dealt with in my reply to the similar Question of 30th March by the hon. Member for North Monaghan.†
