§ MR. CLANCY (Dublin Co., N.)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether his attention has been drawn to the injuries recently inflicted by trawlers on the nets of long-line fishermen off the coast of North Dublin; and whether any steps have been or will be taken to inquire whether in this instance the law has been violated; and, if so, to secure that the guilty parties shall be made amenable.
§ MR. WYNDHAMFour prosecutions are at present pending in respect of alleged infringements of the by-laws prohibiting trawling in these waters.
