HC Deb 23 March 1903 vol 119 c1451
DR. SHIPMAN (Northampton)

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether, in the case of dogs sold by the police, he will direct that every purchaser shall give his or her name and address, and shall be required to pay the dog tax before taking possession of the dog.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Alters Douglas.) No, Sir; I do not see my wav to issuing any such directions.
