To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he can state the number of first class teachers at present employed in Irish national schools with an average attendance of less than, 50 pupils and the number of first class teachers at present employed in schools with an average of less than 70 pupils.

(Answered by Mr. Wyndham.) There are 984 such teachers in schools with an average attendance of less than 50 pupils, and G2G in schools with an average attendance of between 50 and 70 pupils.
