HC Deb 22 June 1903 vol 124 c76
*MR. O'SHEE (Waterford, W.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland if he will state what steps have been taken by the police to secure the arrest of the persons implicated in the recent case of garrotting near Lismore.

MR. WYNDHAM

One of the two persons implicated is in custody, on remand. The police are making every effort to capture the second.

*MR. O'SHEE

Will the right hon. Gentleman direct some of the extra police in Tallow, the nearest police station, to be detailed for the duty of capturing this garrotter, as no crime exists in Tallow?
