HC Deb 15 June 1903 vol 123 c937
MR. GILHOOLY (Cork Co., W.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether, in view of the fact that manual instructresses in national schools give instruction in needlework, kindergarten, hand and eye training, and object lessons, and give service during the entire school day, and that £24 per annum is the maximum salary for such service, he will recommend that a portion of the Equivalent Grant or some other fund be allocated for increasing their salaries.

(Answered by Mr. Wyndham.) I am not yet in a position to make an announcement in reference to the allocation of this Grant.
