§ SIR CHARLES DILKETo ask the President of the Local Government Board when he is likely to issue regulations, under Section 23(4) of the Education Act, 1902, prescribing the mode in which the amount produced by rates under the Act shall be estimated.
(Answered by Mr. Walter Long.) I have been in communication on this subject with the associations representing the various local authorities concerned. One of these associations have not yet furnished me with their final observations, but I expect to receive them in a day or two. I hope to be in a position to issue the regulations very shortly.
