MACVEAGHTo ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he can state the number of constables who during the time Sergeant Long has been principal officer at Rasharkin, County Antrim, applied for transfer to other districts; to what religious denominations these constables belong; and the number who obtained such transfers.
(Answered by Mr. Wyndham.) Six constables applied for transfers from this station during the period referred to (four years four months). They were all Roman Catholics.
