HC Deb 23 July 1903 vol 126 cc54-5
MR. BROADHURST (Leicester)

To ask the First Lord of the Treasury whether the Government have invited the assistance of the wholesale co-operative distributing societies in pursuing the inquiries into the fiscal policy of the country; arid, if not, is it their intention to do so.

(Answered by Mr. A. J. Balfour.) I have already informed the House that any representations from members of co-operative societies, which are made to the Government in connection with this subject, will be carefully considered.
