To ask the Postmaster-General whether he can state the number of clerks of the second division employed by the Post Office who resigned their positions and left the Civil Service during the twelve months ending December, 1902; and whether the causes of the resignations can be stated generally.

(Answered by Mr. Austen Chamberlain.) The number was seven, but reasons were not given in all the cases.
