HC Deb 09 July 1903 vol 125 c141
MR. M'GOVERN' (Cavan, W.)

To ask the Postmaster-General what steps have been taken to provide a new post office for Belturbet; are the plans ready; where can a copy of them be seen; and when will building operations commence.

(Answered by Mr. Austen Chamberlain.) The acquisition of a site, in the Diamond, for a new post office at Belturbet has been arranged, but its completion has been delayed by the death of the vendor. It is hoped, however, that the matter will be completed shortly. Plans for the new building have been approved, and it is proposed to begin building during the current financial year.
