HC Deb 06 July 1903 vol 124 cc1410-1
MR. BOLAND (Kerry, S.)

I beg to ask the Postmaster-General whether he is aware that inconvenience is caused to the inhabitants of Valentia Island, County Kerry, by the practice of retaining at Cahirciveen letters which arrive by the afternoon train; and, in view of the short distance to the ferry, whether arrangements could be made to forward the letters for distribution on the same evening.

MR. AUSTEN CHAMBERLAIN

Inquiry is being made on the subject, and I will send a reply to the hon. Member as soon as it is completed.
