HC Deb 03 August 1903 vol 126 c1289

On behalf of the hon. Member for South Sligo, I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether, in view of the fact that since its formation the Congested Districts Board have expended the sum of £86,025 in the counties of Donegal, Mayo, and Galway, whilst only £2,183 have been given to Sligo, and that applications for grants from Sligo have recently been refused by hat body, steps will be taken to have a representative from Sligo on the Congested Districts Board.

The figures quoted erpresent expenditure on engineering works only. There is no vacancy at present on the Board.
