HC Deb 03 August 1903 vol 126 cc1274-5
MR. NANNETTI (Dublin, College Green)

To ask the Postmaster-General whether he is aware that four telegraphists stationed at the Shrewsbury office, who were transferred from amalgamated offices, have received the increment for postal knowledge, while another telegraphist at the same town, who was transferred from an amalgamated office, has been refused the increment; and, if so, whether he will explain the reason for this difference of treatment, and have the case investigated, with a view to the concession of the increment.

(Answered by Mr. Austen Chamberlain.) As I stated in reply to a similar Question on Friday,† if the name of the officer referred to is furnished I will inquire into the matter.
