§ THE SECRETARY TO THE ADMIRALTY (Mr. Arnold-Forster, Belfast, W.)As the Admiralty has conducted the bulk of the transport work on behalf of the War Office, I have been asked by my right hon. friend to answer this Question. No goods have been shipped to South Africa by the Admiralty on behalf of the War Office or of the Navy during the current year by steamers not belonging to the Conference Lines.
