§ Mr. LAMBERTTo ask Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will state the total issues out of the Exchequer for the most recent year available under the provisions of the Agricultural Rates Act, England; its equivalent for Scotland; and the issues to Ireland under the Local Government Act, 1898.

The amounts issued from Imperial Revenues in the financial year 1902–3, under the Agricultural Rates Acts, England and Scotland, and for the Agricultural Grant under the Local Government (Ireland) Act, 1898, were: To England, £1,327,981 5s. 11d.; to Scotland, £280,413 5s. 3d.; to Ireland, £727,655 0s. 0d.; the last amount was part of a total issue to Ireland of £1,018,226 13s. 8d. under the Local Government (Ireland) Act, 1898.
